No Reserve & Low Starting Bid : ) Yale University of Forestry Vintage Photo Album 1920's Paul S. Newcomb (Class of 1925) Album Measures 10 X 7 ¼ It weighs over 3 pounds WOW! WHAT CAN I SAY! THIS IS AN OUTSTANDING FIND! What you are bidding on: 1st . Is a Photo album mostly of Yale Department of Forestry students doing field site work in what appears to be Vermont and other New England States during 1923-24 with 192 photos. 2 nd . 60 Original negatives and a number of these are of what is in the photo album. 3 rd . 71 Additional loose photos that did not make it into the album or some that may of fell out of the album. They consist of the same subject matter as to what is in the album however, t are a number of wildlife photos of animals like a black bear, moose, birds and so on. (Note: I do not give you the subject matter of the 71 additional photos but they are very much like what is in the album) 4th. Yale Forest School News Vol. 58 No. 2 Alumni Directory Issue from 1970. I have not provided a picture but it has 39 pages and was addressed to Mr. Paul S. Newcomb Forest Service, Federal Bldg Rutland, Vt. 05701 Total of 263 Photos The photo album dates back to the early 1920's and has many historical, educational, informative and fun photos of the day. The album was owned by Paul S. Newcomb who was a graduate of Yale School of Forestry class of 1925. The album is made up of mostly photos of people from the Yale Department of Forestry and includes many aspects of their field work. Most of the photos identify not only the people but locations and activities.
