Hi, this is a lovely flute that would suit someone looking for a quality instrument without paying several hundred pounds for a new one. As far as I am aware the Yamaha 21S is the predecessor of the of the 211, Yamaha having changed their numbering system several years ago. I am unaware of its age having brought it second hand about 15 years ago 10 years of which has been spent in my cupboard! It is however in sound cosmetic and mechanical condition having good pads and excellent action. Its only flaws are a few places where the laquer has been rubbed away through playing and a very, very tiny dent to the underside of the head that can only be seen under close examination. The clasps on the case have broken off and is subsequently held shut with an elastic band. It has a low start bid and no reserve so grab a bargain!
