Yamaha Recording Custom with Sonor Delite Maple Snare and full hardware + cases Welcome to the auction of this special instrument, it is extremely well cared for and ready to go. I purchased the kit in 2000 as just a shell pack, adding in the snare and hardware myself and have spent many happy hours performing and recording with it. The highlight was a live MTV show at the Astoria where it sounded as it should, completely amazing :)Why am I selling? It's a painful decision for me to sell the kit on but I haven't played it properly in over 7 years as my musical attention is elsewhere now. I got into dj-ing and music production and am now learning mastering and production. As such, I hardly play at all at the moment and to have a kit of this quality sitting around just isn't right. Eventually, I'd really like to get a set of the Roland V drums for the midi capability but this is a little way off yet for me. The kit has always been carefully stored, cased up and indoors at home in the back room. The drums are in superb condition with very few marks for their age. Out of 10 I'd rate them at 8.5. If they were a car, they look like a 3 year old car, if that makes sense, still glossy and looking pretty new. The kit heads are Evans G2, not new but with plenty of life in them and the snare has a Remo Ambassador, again the head is not new read more
