You are looking at a Yamaha SG500B in excellent condition. I do not know how old it is, but it says "Made by Kaohsiung Yamaha Co. Ltd in Taiwan in accordance with specifications of Yamaha Corporation" on a small sticker on the back. It is a budget version of the legendary SG range, but built to a typically high Yamaha standard. The components and finish are of a very good quality. It is solid mahogany with a carved and bound top; the neck is bolt-on with no significant fret wear. It makes a good sound and the action is low and buzz free. There are a couple of marks and scuffs, but no scratches or cracks on the body or around the neck pocket. Please email with any questions.
