Eb tenor / alto horn made by Yamaha, this is a professional level model which is known as a YAH601ST. The year of manufacture would be mid 1980's prior the the introduction of the YAH602 which was recently replaced by the Neo. Key: Eb with three piston valves, Bell: 7.25 inches, Finish: bright silver plate, fitted with a tuning trigger on the first valve slide. Ideal quality instrument for a student learner or occasional use. In my opinion this instrument is in very good playing and good cosmetic condition. The silver plating is mostly all intact and appears to be original. There are little dings/knock marks all over but no large dents and no damage to affect the playability. All slides & valve tops are free and the felts/springs are good or new, the valves are working well with no pitting/wear. Plays with a good sound & many years of service left but please remember it is not a new Besson Sovereign at over £2700. Comes complete with the original Yamaha hard case which is in very good condition and a used mouthpiece if required.
