Offered for auction is a custom tailored Yomiuri Giants Jersey hand signed and inscribed "Godzilla" by the New York Yankees Hideki Matsui!!! This Yomiuri Giants jersey, autographed by Matsui, is authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA) and comes with a JSA Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and tamper proof numbered sticker. The JSA Cert # is N61941 which can be verified on their website so you can be sure you're bidding on a genuine Hideki Matsui signature !Matsui signed his bold and distinctive autograph in silver paint pen. In addition to his signature Hideki has added the inscription "Godzilla". Both his autograph and inscription are very strong and display beautifully on this Giants jersey.Hideki was described by Yankees Captain Derek Jeter as one of his "favorite teammates". He ended his career in pinstripes being named the 2009 World Series MVP as the Yanks won their 27th World Series Title. Matsui drove in 6 runs in the clinching Series victory over the Philadelphia Phillies and was named MVP despite playing in only 3 Series games. He was the DH for the Yankees and the DH isn't used in National League parks during the Series.
