Yashica made a long line of 6X6 TLR cameras that can be divided into knob advance and crank advance models. Released in 1950-s the Yashica-Mat features an uncoupled light meter and an 80mm f/3.5 Yashinon shooting lens. . It is an all-mechanical camera. It features a copal MXV leaf shutter capable of speeds ranging from B and 1second to 1/500. It offers flash sync at all speeds. The Yashica-Mat featured in this listing is in good condition and is fully functional Cosmetically the camera shows minimal wear . The shutter speeds sound reasonable. The glass on the taking and viewing lenses are clean and scratch free. The film advance, focusing knobs and speed knobs all move with ease. This camera does not include a dual lens cap, so care will be taken in packaging for damage free shipping. This is a great TLR camera for the collector and a functional piece for the photographer.
