Offered is this great Yawman and Erbe, solid tiger or quartersawn oak stacking filing cabinet. Made at the turn of the 1900th Century in Rochester, New York. It is a total of 6 sections including the top and the base. It total it stands 54 1/2" tall and 33" wide. It is 17" deep and 18 12/" deep at the top were it comes out as a crown on the top section. It is composed of a base that stands about 11" tall, a 3 drawer section 7 1/2" tall, a 15 drawer section 14" tall, a 9 drawer section 14 1/2" tall, a 2 drawer section 2 1/2" tall (this appears to be a 3 drawer until opening the drawers) and a top section 5" tall. This is in it's original worn finish. All drawers have oriignal handles except one. The 9 and the 3 drawer sections have monogramed handles with a Y and E on them. For the age of the piece it is in great condition. T are a few minor problems. The molding is broke on the base of one side of the 9 drawer section and one side of the 15 drawer section. The 9 drawer section has had some work done on it at sometime The bottom left drawer has been replaced and it appears that 4 of the drawers have had the bottoms replaced at one piont. On the right side of the section the panel has a small amount of lifting on the veneer. Please email with any questions or more pictures.
