The Yellow Dwarf, Walter Crane's Toy Books; Shilling Series. Very hard to find, Number 76 in the original Shilling Series, printed in London and New York, George Routledge and Sons. All pages are present. This copy has never been tampered with by stapling pages together, taping or binding. The original thread holds the pages together ,HOWEVER, the front and rear card stock covers are seperated from the other pages. All four full page single page and one double page illustrations are in wonderful brilliant colour condition. The first illustration of dwarf and queen has small piece missing on lower right corner. Piece measures 1/8". Same with front cover. T is no tape, no holes, no tears. On cover above title are three marks in blue one of which is 250(?) no other marks. If you are familiar with Walter Crane then you know how scarce this book is and how difficult to find in this condition. I hope someone who will appreciate this wonderful book will buy it and add to his/her collection.
