Calcite fluorescent mineral, from the Sterling Hill Mine, near Franklin NJ. Hand-sized specimen of gray-white calcite from Sterling Hill. There is some hydrozincite coating, but more interesting are the areas of calcite that fluoresce yellow, both long and short wave. The rest fluoresces red and blue in short wave UV light. Cabinet specimen, measures 5 3/4 inches x 3 x 1 1/2 inches, and weighs 14 ounces. For auction with no reserve. Payment by PayPal required. Shipping in the U.S. Priority Mail, calculated by Ebay. I am happy to combine shipping on multiple lots using the flat rate box for $9.85. Pennsylvania residents must add 6% sales tax to item price.
