Yellow Lusterware Bowl w/Buttlerfiles and Flowers

This is a very pretty brightly colored handpainted yellow lusterware bowl. The bowl is bulbous and measures approximately 8 1/2" in diameter. The main color is yellow on the outside and highly decorated in amber, lavander and green florals accented with a butterfly on each side. The butterflies are black with green coloring. T are also an additional two flowers around the rim of the bowl in colors of yellow, amber, green and lavander. All designs are outlines in black as is the scalloped rim of the bowl and the bottom. The inside of the bowl is amber luster on the bottom and up the side for about two thirds of the way. The underside inside of the rim is white. The bottom or the piece has a circle in brown ink with a bird in the center. Inside the circle surrounding the bird are the words "Handpainted, Made in Japan." The section w the mark appears is unglazed. This is a handpainted piece that reflects the character of a handpainted piece. The yellow luster is mottled . The inside of the bowl shows some normal use wear and some paint drops. T are no chips or cracks. The colors are clear and crisp and the palette is a beautiful combination of vivid colosr with an lovely design. The glaze is lusterous both outside and inside. Will ship to US Only.
