In near mint condition, this figural flask measures about 9 1/2" tall. A portly smiling man sitting on a keg (marked with a "2") with a glass and pitcher. He has a waistcoat on, a vest, a kerchief at his neck and large buckles on his shoes. His tophat forms the spout. The glaze is fairly even and not mottled. Unmarked. The only thing keeping him from perfection is a single tiny flake on the very bottom edge that is about half the size of a BB. He has rather crude stilt marks on the reverse. A very nice example of early figural yellowware. No reserve. Please see our other listings for more yellowware and mocha. More to come. Buyer to include shipping and insurance with payment within 10 days of auction close. Money Orders and paypal only please. Thanks!!
