New York City, American Revolution, King's College cm1032 Oriental Rug Review/Asian trade is pleased to offer an original article from Scribner's Magazine. "New York in the Revolution II," by John F. Mines. Original article from Scribner's Magazine, Vol.XI, No. 4, Feb., 1876, 15pp, (loose), 12 Illustration, 6 1/4"x9 1/2". About the Author: NY Times: November 6, 1891, Wednesday. John F. Mines , for many years a well-known newspaper writer in this city, died yesterday at the Charity Hospital. He had been arrested on Tuesday night for intoxication, and sent to the workhouse. It was soon discovered that he was suffering from alcoholism, and he was removed to the hospital, where he died.
