Up for auction is a vintage Original Bowie Hunting Knife, Fixed Blade with leather sheath. Blade is stamped ORK CUTLERY (the "Y" is missing when they stamped it), Solingen, Germany. The other side of the blade is stamped 708. The leather sheath is stamped;-Made in West Germany & Embossed w/ 12-Point Stag's Head.
Knife is in very good condition with some light pitting/ staining and light sharpening scratches. The Leather Sheath is in very good condition--Leather is still soft and pliable , with no rust on the Rivets or loose or torn stitches. Prior owners name and price is wrote on back of sheath. Knife is 13" long overall , bone stag handle is 5" long , blade is 8" long. ---------------------------.------------Please ask all questions prior to bidding, as something that is insignificant to me may be significant to you.
