New York Stoneware Company 3 Gallon Crock with Bird on a Branch Ready to add to your growing collection is this wonderful 4 Gallon Crock made and stamped by the New York Stoneware Company, Fort Edward, N.Y. This company was in production in Fort Edward from 1859-1885. This beauty sports the maker's mark with cobalt wash and a Nicely Drawn Bird on a Branch with Fine Details in Face and Feathers. Measures 10 1/2" tall and wide across the top. Excellent Condition . Three chips on the outside of the rim (1/4", 1/2", 5/8"), a narrow 1/2" chip on the right handle, two small chips together in the center of the branch, and a few small spots of light staining from use. A small kiln touch on the right side in the making. That's it! No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or repairs. Please view the full set of pictures as part of the description.
