***********Please read the following closely: This mixer has one issue that will need attention at some point. Upon initial powering up [turning power switch on], the power amp does not always complete the 10-15 secs initialization procedure, therefore no sound. The red amp protect LED stays on, does not cycle off as it should. Turning switch off, back on, will eventually complete the process. At times, this initial procedure will complete time after time, no problems. At other times, it will fail a couple times in a row. An online service manual at Yorkville Sound mentions this problem, and a couple possible parts at fault. With the above being said,.....the mixer will always come up and work,....but the problem should be addressed. Everything else works as it should, with no other issues.
This mixer was used for a Southern Gospel Music Group for years, then retired and kept for a back-up. It is cosmetically very nice indeed, with no missing knobs, buttons, sliders, etc,.. or any other physical damage. If you know ProAudio equipment, you know Yorkville Sound of Canada makes some of the finest, most durable products in the industry. This mixer in its day sold for in the $3000 range.
