Thisis an original one sheet (1 sheet) theatrical release poster for "You Only Live Twice" released in 1967 starring Sean Connery as James Bond. This"Style A" One Sheet, featuring the volcano, is 27 ¼ inches by 40 inches, varying slight from the traditional 27x41 inch size, but this poster is miss cut and that may account for its odd size. The left margin is much larger than the right, which is almost non-existent. Due to it being so poorly cut, the NSS number, which normally appears on the bottom right hand side, is almost completely cut off leaving only the "6" from 67/115 visible. The NSS number 67/115 does appear on the left hand side of the poster. The poster is on a heavier paper than normal and may account for the heavy creasing.

The posters defects are included in the second scan. T are three horizontal creases through the volcano portion of the poster and one vertical crease running the length of the poster. The most prominent crease is the middle crease, which is captured on the top of the second scan.

The middle two images on the second scan are the posters corners showing the heavy creasing and slight water damage.

The bottom images are the NSS number. The image on the scan's left is the NSS number appearing on the left hand side of the poster. The other bottom image is what remains of the NSS number that normally appears on the right hand side of the poster.

CONDITION: C5 (in the Warren scale) Good to Very Good. "PG" is written in marker at the bottom of the poster. T are no tears, which is probably due to the heavier paper. The poster is still attractive for all its flaws and these original posters are getting harder to find and this is your chance to get one at a reasonable price.
