Young Man's Fancy ( Patriotic Quilt) Lancaster County Quilt Creations , Museum Quality Antique Reproduction The photos shown are a totally accurate representation of this beautiful quilt, Reproducing the original that was made in 1915 , and has been published many times. The size of this quilt is about 88 x 88 inches. This is one of the best examples of this classic style of quilt that I have seen in years. The exquisite choice of design, and the choice of colors is what makes this quilt so wonderful. The 9 large Traditional Young Man's Fancy quilt blocks make up the theme of this wonderful quilt top. These blocks are then framed with wonderful sashing of 5 strips of red and white strips that seem to have the appearence of he red and white stripes on an american flag. At the junction points of these red and white frames are beautiful blue and white junction points which to the eye appear as the star feilds finishing the flag motif that finishes this complex design. Then a white Border Framing that goes around the entire quilt finishes this unique quilt. I have included quite a few photos of his quilt as the graphics and quilting deserve to be showcased to their fullest extent possible on this wonderful quilt. The size of this quilt is approximately 88 x 88The fabrics used are all 100% Cottons, The batting material that we choose for this quilt is a very low loft poly to enhance the antique appearence of this wonderful quilt.
