I welcome your bid on a batch of Beautiful Gold Nuggets from the Dawson Mining District in the Yukon Territory, Canada(the area of the 1897-98 Klondike Gold Rush).The gold was sluiced in the early 1980s. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ This auction is for 15.55 grams (one-half troy ounce)of Yukon Gold .Please note the size of the gold pieces and the amount of gold,compared to the U.S. 10-cent piece (dime) shown in the photograph. Most placer gold nuggets have been eroded by water from a gold vein in a solid rock and washed down a stream, w, because of the high density of the gold relative to the other material being transported by the moving water, the nuggets are deposited quickly in sand and gravel when the water slows or stops.
