Not sure when this is from, looks like anyw from the 50's to the 70's. It's a printing block for Zaberers restaurant, which was located on the Black Horse Pike in Atlantic City, from May 29, 1955 through sometime in the 80's when they closed. Zaberers was HUGE, had artificial flowers and stained glass everyw and t was always a line to get in. It was an adventure, that's for sure!! This block is about 3.5" x 4", and was surely used for a newspaper advertisement or a flyer. It's brass on a block of wood with Philly info on the back. The block shows a cartoon character holding a glass of champagne with the words "Every Tuesday is Champagne Night" at the top. It also boasts a smorgasbord luncheon! At the base it says Zaberers Prime Ribs, Black Horse Pike, Near Atlantic City Race Track. This is a rare piece of Atlantic City memorabilia and is a find for those who remember Zaberers with a smile! This is a final sale. I will accept returns only if the item has been grossly misrepresented. Sale price, less shipping and handling costs will be returned to you once I am in receipt of the item in the exact same condition it was in when I packed it.
