Red Mill Antiques. This piece is a large jousting knight on horse figurine made by the Zaccagnini Pottery in Florence, Italy. The figure measures 12” in height and 11 ½” long. Sadly the horse has lost an ear (he had it when I previewed it at the auction, but when I won it, it was gone). The only other damage is to the wooden joust, it’s split and shortened but a suitable replacement shouldn’t be much of a problem. The figure is marked on the bottom as shown, the mark is faint but it’s unmistakably the Z over a mountain line M mark used by Zaccagnini.
