Just in from a local estate is this neat old matte green art pottery vase. I was told by a kind ebayer that its a Zanesville Stoneware Company vase and is #37 pictured on page 61 of the ZSC book by Rans/Ralston/Russell. The piece has no chips or cracks and is 11 3/4" high and 4" across its top opening. Its not marked. Piece has 2 side seams which were filled in before it was painted. Vase body has some light dripping and a few "pock" marks and raised tiny bits of extra pottery as well. Its a neat piece. Offered without a reserve other than what I feel is a very modest auction starting price.
