You will find a good quantity of Shane’s real quality carvings in my shop only (Ask for a specific design and I can have it made especially for you by Shane ) This DROP (with single knot lashing/binding) is SM’s new diversification and his fluency and fabulous finishing shows in everything he does! This is a fabulous piece of art from New Zealand by SHANE McINTOSH who is New Zealand’s experienced and very skilled TOP carver and whose proficiency shows in this exclusive piece. Made from Light green UNIQUE (WITH RIVERS AND SPOTTING used for Reiki) New Zealand Jade from South Island, New Zealand. The beautiful character shows well in this piece! Dimensions (Approximately Maximum) 3 7/8 “X 1 1/2 ” X 1/2 “Inches 100 X 32 X 11 Mms Comes with a plaited cord, Changeable length (New UNIQUE Design) and authetication card. This is a drop used by the Maoris as an amulet or a piece of jewellery around their neck. Absence of metal in their life (and working tools) inspired them to develop forms such as these which were in harmony with nature and were very well revered as prized possessions.
