This 9mm. scale "O" gauge New Zealand Railways 3' 6" Narrow Gauge "F" Class 0-6-0 Tank engine number 24 in the lined black livery was built & painted by Pat Hollins from the Paul Burnstein etched kit. It is being sold on a "for spares or repair" basis. The motor/gearbox is working but the gearbox is slipping on the axle. It is evident that this well detailed locomotive has had the body constructed using adhesives, although it appears the chassis is of soldered construction. Some of the parts are now loose including the chimney & the cab/sidetanks sub-assembly is not fixed down to the floor at the rear. The cab is very well detailed & includes a two man crew.
