Carl Zeiss Dialyt 8 x 30 B, Serial number 653381 An extract fom the "Binoculars explained" website reads: The Zeiss 8x30B Dialyt : was an absolute time bomb of innovation and design. After acquiring a majority stock holding of “Hesoldt” in 1954, Zeiss later became one of the most major producers. The first Zeiss 8x30B Dialyt binocular produced in 1964 bore the achromatic doublet lens outline trademark which was a design by accomplished artist and designer Erich Khuitan. The usual Zeiss quality, this pair are in need of some tender loving care, they are sold for renovation or spares as they have some damage as the photos show and are sold as seen.
