Here's an excellent example of a pocketable 6x4.5 (2 1/4 x 1 3/4) medium format scale-focusing folding camera, the Zeiss Ikon 521A (serial #W 6162), with the renowned four-element 75mm f/3.5 Opton Tessar lens (serial #623122). The camera is in exceedingly nice cosmetic and perfect functional condition, as well it should: the folding camera guru, Jurgen Kreckel ( certo6 on eBay ), fully serviced the camera prior to my purchase (in February of this year). The Synchro-Compur shutter speeds (1 sec to 1/500, + bulb) are spot-on. and the shutter is M/X flash-synched. The leather bellows are light-tight, and the T-coated Carl Zeiss lens is clean, with no fungus, haze or fog, and free of the dreaded "Tessar Disease ", which will not allow proper focus across the film plane. The double-exposure prevention system is working properly, and this camera is a late 521A, with the single red counter window (with a sliding door to minimize light fogging). All in all, a wonderful little camera that has not been getting any use, so Momma says it's time to go - and if Momma ain't happy, nobody happy :-(. With the proper fitted leather case and lens hood. About 2.5 lbs packed for safe shipment from zip 55047.
