ZENITH 1950'S TRANS-OCEANIC TUBE RADIO Up for auction is a Zenith tube shortwave radio. This radio is one that my Dad won playing poker during the Korean War, he had four dueces. My father who just turned 80 in January said the guy tried to buy it back the next day but he kept it. Overall it is in very good condition for it's age and w it has been. He told me that he would leave it in the bunk's in the secondary position while he was on the front line. It still has the hand drawn instructions for battery operation that the electrician in his squad wrote up for him. It has the antenna intact and also the suction cup's and cord for the wavemagnet antenna. T are a few scuffs shown in the pictures. I ship to the Continental States and accept paypal only. All sales are final. I package everything I sell as good as I can, but after it leaves my hands I have no control. Thank you for looking and happy bidding.
