Offered for your consideration is Zenith Model 6D526, c. 1941. The cabinet is solid and the veneer good, although worn as seen in the photographs. The clear dial cover will have to be replaced. The pointer is a Zenith but I do not believe it is the correct one for this radio. The dial itself does not have a Zenith logo therefore I do not believe it is correct for this radio. I took 3 photos of the chassis which may or may not be a Zenith, decide for yourself. The knobs are original and will clean up to some degree. There is some deformation at the base of the knobs, but not significant. The knobs work mechanically and the radio plays well picking up local stations. It is missing two screws for the back. The cord may be original. I don't know, but you can see it clearly in the photos. A nice looking radio with attractive wood graining on the top. Electronically the radio is sold "AS IS". The photographs should be considered as an important part of the item description, so please view them with that understanding. Many of my radios have not been powered up so they, including this item, are sold as untested. I am not knowledgeable in radio engineering or electronics and therefore make no representations regarding those aspects of the radios that I sell. There are photographs of the chassis allowing you to make a general assessment read more
