ZENITH El Primero Chronograph Extremely Rare First Edition Issue of this Legendary WatchOriginally only 2600 pieces madeCirca 1969Vintage Gentlemans wristwatch with Date feature and very Retro stylings Zenith Automatic 3019 PHC / 400 calibre 31 Jewel... A rare movement and highly respected amongst experts and collectors alike.Regarded by some as one of the greatest Chronograph calibres. Stainless Steel case ref : A384Original Signed Screwed-down case back with raised Zenith logoSigned Zenith crown Very sought after 'Panda' dial White/Silver with black sub dials and baton markersDate aperture at 5'o'clock and Silver hands with Red chrono hand Fitted with black leather strap, Zenith buckle Watch number - 905 D 755 Complete with Original Zenith Box and Zenith service papers from March 2000 Whilst at Zenith for servicing the watch has had its Crown updated and also necessary 400 calibre parts fitted to the movement. In the El Primero series of movements the 400 calibre (launched in 1986) is the successor to the 3019 (launched in 1969). In essence they are the same movement which is why Zenith use these archived parts to restore older watches. The Zenith paperwork clearly states that this watch is still the correct 3019 PHC calibre.
