Zenith Trans-Oceanic B600L At auction is the gem of a small collection and the Rolls Royce of the Trans-Oceanic line. ( This is a previously listed item re-auctioned due to an incomplete sale.) In 2005 the chassis was carefully reworked by a local professional. The marginal tubes were replaced, including the frightfully expensive, and hard to find, one. Capacitors were replaced and the unit was aligned. These radios are powerful; this one is crisp and clear on all bands. Having owned numerous Trans-Oceanics this one is the most responsive to the, somewhat redundant, tone controls. Included is a modern power-pack, selling for $100. (Batteries will be removed to control shipping expense.) The "L" in the model number stands for "leather". This unit has one small tear on the front left edge which has been carefully glued. The rest of the case is incredibly nice. Double boxing will be used for shipping to the US or Canada. Please contact me prior to bidding if you have less than 2 positive feedbacks .
