Up for bids is the Zenith Royal 3000-1 AM-FM Multiband Transistor Transoceanic Radio. The 3000-1 is in very good condition and it works fine. I believe these radios were made in the early 1960's. The Zenith Transistor Transoceanics are heavy, well-made radios. The case is very clean and complete. The antenna handle and assembly are in good, working condition. The red tip is attached and the hinge and latch mechanism works perfectly. These handle/antennas are often broken. This one is fine. The cabinet aluminum and chrome trim pieces are in good, clean condition. T are a very few tiny scratches, but they are hard to see and they may polish out. The outside metallic surfaces are not pitted, nor is t any rust at all. The black leattte or vinyl areas are all in good condition with no tears or scuffs. The radio front cover is in good condition and it is complete. It releases and unlatches properly and goes back into place properly. The lettering and logos on the front are all very clean and in good condition. The bottom Zenith logo has a scratch, but it is not severe. The inside map and Dial-O-Map are also clean and in good complete working condition. T is a single scratch on this surface, but it too is hard to see and cannot be seen with the door closed.
