A K Custom flat ride 20 cymbal. Excellent condition. No cracks, keyholing or dents. Smooth round outer edge. Has 2 holes for rivets which will be supplied in a container - use with or without, your choice. This beauty will be well bubblewrapped, then encased in packaging cardboard and sent insured. Even cuts through at low volume.Great stick definition with wood or nylon tipped sticks.Very wet sounding.It is not a great crash (a little to resounding) for my style but thats what they make crashes for.This is also a durable ride.Mine gets used and sometimes abused and still no problem. Ive wanted one for a really long time and when i got one i was really happy with the decision i made. i find that its best in live situations. you can crash it and get a full bodied crash in high volume situations like a live show and its ping cuts when playing patterns.the bell cuts fairly well. when it comes to recording i suggest u have an A series sweet ride. The definition is bright, but not to the point where volume is sacrificed. You can get more than enough volume and power out of this cymbal. Quiet, defined playing can also be accomplished at the same level of quality. In my opinion, it is very versitile and can be succesfully used in any type of playing style. The only drawback is that the bell isn't of the same quality as the rest of the cymbal. It is isn't nearly bright or "pingy" enough for me. It has a gorgeous sound about it that lasts for years. It is also extremely thick, so you don't have to worry about it breaking. As compared to several different ride cymbals that my friends own, I think that this has the best general sound. Others get an excessive, nasty, ringing noise that overpowers the tone you want in a ride cymbal. This cymbal does not do that. It produces a nice, high, short sound with every stroke. I would recommend this cymbal, however, only for someone serious about playing. It is very expensive. I just got this ride today and I love it. However, this ride is not your classic ride, it has a lot of crashy overtones which I love, but not all people do. It cuts through anything and roars when crashed at the bottom. I play some heavy stoner rock, and it cuts right through. The topside ping is beautiful and jazzy. But when you lay into it, it just opens wide up. It's absolutely huge (the sound, I mean). Amazing. Goes quite well with my 15" A Custom Mastersound Hihats and 20" A custom Ride (as a crash, of course).
