Jar Lifters Tighteners Jar Openers Canning Utensils Primitive look to most of these utensils. Included in this lot: 2-handled jar lifter with black wooden handles and rubberized ends. Rubber shows nicks and dents. metal shows some rust. 8" long adjustable tool - which I believe is a lid tightener. Shows some rust. Red wooden handled lifter -- I think it is a lifter for very large jars. If I am wrong on this please let me know what it is. The metal shows some rust. Gunnard Canning set in original box - contains one black handled lifter and one tightener. Also has a booklet entitled 'Canning and Preserving'. The box is mangled and is missing a flap. Originally contained 2 tighteners but one is missing. The rubber on the tightener seems unused. The lifter shows tarnish from age but I don't think it has been used either. Zim Jar Opener.
