You are looking at a Genuine Zippo lighter dated 1965 baring the 2517191 patent number and it is mint condition having never been fired. It is inscribed with advertising for The (Edward Hines Lumber Company ) which was established in 1892. Mr. Edward Hines founded the Edward Hines Lumber Co. in 1892.Early on Hines was dedicated to the marketing principle of providinglumber products focused on specific customer needs. Hines was among the first companies to segregate delivery of lumber into standard sizes and grades based upon customer specifications. Hines also established an elaborate distribution network starting with sawmills, centralized distribution points, a nucleus concentration yard in Chicago and finally, retail outlets throughout Chicagoland.
