Up for auction is an extremely rare, 2007 edition ZIPPO lighter, featuring Japanese National Hero and Boston Red Sox Star Daisuke Matsuzaka's famous #18 Jersey . This rare collectible is was made by ZIPPO but marketed only in Japan . Only 2007 of these rare lighters were made to commemorate Dice-K's rookie season. This is #92 of 2007. Everything pictured is included, including the beautiful MLB jewel case . I purchased one from a radio station in Japan and was very lucky to be one of the callers. The signing of Dice-K to the Sox was national news not only in the US , but in Japan it was national news for months! This item has never been used and, until I took these pictures, it had never been taken out of the plastic. We lived in Japan last year and we were lucky to have the opportunity to buy one. These sold for the equivalent of $250 in Japan , but the bidding today will start as a low opening bid. Rest assured, you will never have an opportunity like this to own a rare piece of Red Sox Nation from another nation!
