This One of a Kind Vintage Superb Custom Made Machete Jungle Style knife was supposedly carried in South America by a Philip Davis and was created by the Late Bladesmith Zollan McCarty, of Thomaston, GA.. The Design, Balance and Workmanship are Fabulous, it has a full tang construction & the blade is Symmetrically Hollow Ground & Highly Mirror Polished, anything you see in the pictures on the blade are just reflection, the tang is stamped with the "Z McCARTY Thomaston, GA" Logo. The handle slabs are made from a Gorgeous Dark Grainy Micarta that are secured by six pins & has a lined lanyard hole, it has a dovetailed nickel silver guard with a single finger grip. The knife comes with its Original High Quality Tight Stitched Tube Style all Leather Belt Sheath that is embossed on the back with the initials "PHD" & what looks like two crosses & several hash marks. The Overall length is 26" with a blade length of 17-7/8" that was made from ¼" stock. This is a GREAT looking One of a Kind Vintage Zollan McCarty Custom Made Machete Jungle Style Knife in Unused Condition.
