Zunari - Kabuto -Mempo Here is a very rare and interesting samurai helmet Kabuto with matching Mempo for auction , from the Edo period . It is a Zunari Kabuto (3 plate helmet ), painted dark brown with 3 green and black lacquered braided Ita Jikoro ( neck rings ) made of iron . The helmet bowl Bashi is provided on the sides and back with hair and a ponytail Mage , just like him , the Samurai wore earlier . So a helmet I have only seen in books , yesterday he came in the mail from Japan to me. With a brass circle as Maedate ( crest) . Himo Kabuto helmet band is green in . Lining is available. To the appropriate mask Hanmempo , in dark brown lacquered with 4 black lacquered neck rings Yodokake , braided in green . The Kabuto and Mempo are in good condition , signs of use and rust.
