This beautiful mohave 4 turquoise horse fetish was carved by well known Zuni artist Carol Martinez. The fetish measures 2 5/8 inches long, 1 1/4 inch tall and 1/2 inch wide. Each horse is carved from a wonderful piece of mohave turquoise and has a jet inlay diamond on its face. Each horse has jet inlay eyes and the horse on the right has an jet inlay hand on its flank. A gift box included with purchase.

The horse represents swiftness, strength and healing powers. The horse is one of only 2 fetishes that have healing powers. American Indians have used fetishes throughout history, especially the Southwestern Indians. A fetish is considered to have magical powers.
