Classic Rhoda Quam corn maiden pendant made from fossilized squid (orthoceras). Double-sided; beautiful figure adorned with mother and three children, faces made from turquoise, lapiz and spiny oyster shell. This side also includes inlaid turquoise, lapis and coral and a carved feather and star (with lapis inlay). Reverse side features more of Rhoda's signature feathers, dragonflies and stars inlaid with turquoise, coral, lapis, and white shell. The corn maiden pendant measures 2.5" long and hangs from a 28" necklace. When worn the length is 16" (from silver tips to the bottom of the pendant). The necklace is made from brown olive shell heishi and interspersed with turquoise, coral, jet and shell beads, disks and nuggets.Tips are sterling silver. Bought directly from the artist.
