Zuni Native American Indian Dolomite Squirrel Fetish with Turquoise Accents and a Zuni Inlay Design!! This is the only squirrel fetish I have come across and it is a beautiful piece so bid with confidence! - This wonderful squirrel fetish is hand carved by Zuni artist with the initials "DL" which are carved on the bottom of the fetish. - The Squirrel fetish measures 2 3/8 inches long, 5/8 inch tall, 1/2 inch wide. - The squirrel has turquoise eyes, 4 turquoise accents surrounding a fabulous Zuni inlay design of turquoise, red coral and jet. - The squirrel represents natural intelligence, a saver who protects its reserves.. American Indians have used fetishes throughout history, especially the Southwestern Indians. A fetish is considered to have magical powers.
