Zuni Native American Indian Turquoise & Black Marble Raven Fetish by Calvert Bowannie - Fabulous piece! - This beautiful bird fetish is hand carved by well known Zuni artist Calvert Bowannie. On the bottom of the raven the artist's initials "C B" are carved. - The raven is made of black marble and has turquoise inlay eyes. - The raven measures 1 1/4 inches long, 1 1/8 inches wide and 1 7/8 inches tall. This beautiful raven retails for 70.00 and up so bid with confidence! - The raven's beak is scratched upon the afflicted person's skull releasing its healing powers. The raven and the horse are the only 2 fetishes that have innate healing powers. American Indians have used fetishes throughout history, especially the Southwestern Indians.
