I believe the need to collect is directly attributed to a genetic flaw! I'm only half joking when I say that. I came from great collectors. My paternal grandparents were veteran collectors whose collections eventually ended up in museums. I started at around five years of age collecting bits of 18th c English porcelain and did my first professional appraisal at eleven when I corrected an august curator/specialist in a big auction house that what he was saying was Rockingham was really Newhall. Christopher is a frequent keynote speaker, and guest auctioneer. When not appraising, Christopher pursues his other passions. He is the founder and president of CTK Design, an international interior design firm and is regularly featured in national publications.
