Remembering Pearl Harbor by WorthPoint Staff (12/03/08).
Life for a young sailor based in Hawaii during the early 1940s must have seemed an idyllic assignment with sunny days at the beach, routine drills on base and time spent with comrades. One young sailor vividly captured the times with photographs and carefully placed them in an album. On the morning of December 7, when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, the album was the one thing the sailor saved during the attack. Will Seippel, CEO and founder of WorthPoint, recently purchased the album and thought members might enjoy the photos as much as he does.
