Shelly Zegart Quilts
by WorthPoint Staff (02/16/09).
Quilts, literally, are the fabric of our lives. They are works of art in their own right, decorate our homes and preserve our history while telling our stories. Shelly Zegart has a love for American quilts that has taken her on a comprehensive journey from collector and curator to author and lecturer on both antique and contemporary quilts. Reporter Barry Bernson spoke with Ms. Zegart at a retrospective exhibit of her quilts at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft in Louisville, Ky.
