My father, who died four years ago at 91, was of course in the war, testing planes with Doolittle, in the theatre in North Africa, and then in Corsica, Dijon, Germany and Austria. He never would talk about it much until he was near death. These stories are a national treasure.</description>

Congratulations!
This is an exciting launch.

It is just wonderful to see the diary on the screen.  I love seeing the textured cover every day.  It is so touching.  It&#039;s great to hear the young man reading those words as we listen to that wistful and sentimental 1940&#039;s music.  So interesting to see news blurbs from the day.  The technology is great.  The content is rich!

I will be reading every day and passing this along to friends.
