Rare, Deutsche Reichspost lapel pin in perfect condition. Badge measures about 2cm by 4 cm, or ¾" wide by a little over 1-1/2" in length. The Deutsche Reichspost was established as a state monopoly and became the official national postal authority of the German Empire including the annexed province of Alsace-Lorraine. Its official name was "Kaiserliche Post und Telegraphenverwaltung." It became Gross Deutsche Reichspost for about 12 years, and was taken over by the Allies after WW2 and became Bundespost. This is a genuine lapel stick pin from the original Deutsche Reichspost of more than 100 years ago, and it is in excellent condition. Guys, if you wear this, it will be noticed, and it's good to know something about the German empire's postal and telegraph service. Either PayPal or cashiers/registered check from J.P. Morgan Chase or other reputable bank are accepted. U.S. orders only, ships via U.S.P.S. from New York City. This is a final sale for this item
