Will Seippel, the CEO of WorthPoint, launched the first WorthPoint Treasure Hunt in Long Beach, Calif., in October 2017. WorthPoint continued the emerging tradition of hosting Treasure Hunts across the U.S. at different antique shows, flea markets, or other locations where great finds abound. Since Long Beach, we’ve hunted in WorthPoint’s hometown Atlanta as well as Fort Lauderdale, Nashville, and regional events in Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina, and Ohio. We also enjoyed a great time at Papermania in central Connecticut in early 2020.
WorthPoint Treasure Hunts are managed and hosted by Danna Crawford, the Director of Customer Education and Affiliate Marketing at WorthPoint. She is also known as eBay’s PowerSelling Mom. So attendees are learning from one of the top online sellers with extensive experience navigating markets, shows, and antique events. She also happens to host WorthPoint’s “Flip It or Skip It” podcast launched in early 2021 available wherever podcasts are listed.
Everyone is invited to join us. It’s free to sign up, but advance registration is required. Each location is different and will offer unique options that may include special tickets, breakfast and/or lunch, and gift bags. Every hunt also includes an entry into a drawing with a give-away.
Every Treasure Hunt offers the opportunity to learn about items to source and how to gain the skills necessary to identify and value items to resell.
