This is VOGUE magazine from Feb. 1, 1955, with the annual Americana Number art on the cover. The thick 208 issue covers the next successes in American fashion: tweeds, furs, spice colored, the coat cut jacket, the fitted flare, black chiffon, hip length stockings, new corsets, and Real American blues: the blue denims.Lots of interesting features too, including a look at The Family of Man, Edward Steichen's massive new exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Also, The Next Successes: eight American in the arts, including a small writeup and photo of actor James Dean. And, America's new Ice Age: frozen food. Fashion photographers include Radkai, McLaughlin, Rutledge, Leombruno-Bodi, and Horst. I'm grading this one acceptable; spine is heavily frayed and torn, but cover is still mostly attached. Also cover surface is a bit worn. Pages are overall pretty nice. If you're buying multiple issues of Vogue, please email me about combined s/h.
