Only 1201 matched and numbered sets, The first set is in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institution, Washington DC. Number 1201 in on view at the White House of the Confederacy. Each scene has historical signifiance. Mrs. Dwight D. Eisenhower is one of the Trustees of the White House of the Confederacy, in Richmond, Virginia. Each Plate is applied by hand in full color on Lenox Oxford China. Each plate has a enclosed card explaining each reenactment of the scene on the plate. On the reverse side of each plate is lettered in 24 Karat Gold The Great Seal of the Confederaty, number 489. Names of the 10 reenactment scenes are: Seal of the Confederacy - Confederate Camp - Blockade Runner - Fort Sumter - Lee and Jackson - J.E.B.Stuart - White House of the Confederacy - Drummer Boy - The General - The Merrimac.
