China/Ceramic making techniques have been mastered in Anatolia for centuries. Best exmaples belongs to Ottoman period that were made at Iznik. Best examples of these were made between 15th to 18th century. Ceramic/china making moved to Kutahya (a city at central part of southweatern part of Anatolia) in 19th century and it has been the center for ceramic making since then. Today still they are fully handmade by ceramic artisants using old techniques and designs. Ceramic making mainly goes multiple different baking, painting and glazing processes.Turkish handmade and handpainted in jar. The heigth of this item is around 11" and widest area is around 5 1/2". It is perfect for decoration. These items are made in Kutahya and signed by the artist (see the picture below). These are the replicas of the Ottoman china jars. It is decorated with Ottoman floral designs. Main colors on this item are light green and red.
